Once you have clicked on the Buy button the eBook will then be added to your shopping cart.
You can then either continue browsing or proceed to check out & payment. After payment you will receive 2 emails.
Email 1 will be your order confirmation.
Email 2 contains the link to your eBook.

You will receive a confirmation email once you have completed your eBook purchase.
In your confirmation email click the download link for your eBook.

After selecting the download link you will be prompted to either save or open.
Click open and Adobe Digital Editions opens and downloads the title. The title opens automatically after it is downloaded.
If you try and download an eBook before you have installed the free Adobe Digital Editions reader software you will be directed to a reader software download page.
You will be prompted to download the appropriate reader software. Once you have downloaded and registered Digital Editions you will be redirected to the My Harlequin page of your personal account to download your eBook.
An eBook is an electronic or digital version of a printed book, specially designed to be read on computer screens, PDAs (Personal Digital Assistants) or the screens of eBook reading devices.
eBooks are a fast, convenient and great value way to buy, read and keep the books you want. They can be downloaded in seconds and many eBooks can be stored and carried on a single small computer/eReader. eBooks are also interactive, allowing you to search for text and they often have enhanced features in the form of extra content.3. How do I buy and read my first eBook?
You first need to decide what format you would like to read your ebook in. We currently offer Adobe ePUB.
Before you buy your first eBook, please ensure you have downloaded and set up your account in Adobe Digital Editions fully. If you haven't done this already, see our Step-By-Step guide. Please ensure the email address used for your Adobe ID matches that of your millsandboon.com.au account. If this is not done before purchasing your first eBook, the download will not authorise correctly and you will be unable to access the file in Adobe Digital Editions.
Once done, simply find a title you'd like to read and add it to your shopping bag. When you come to checkout you will be prompted to download the eBook.
No, to purchase an eBook you will need a computer that can be connected to the Internet.
This might be a PC, laptop or a handheld computer (check you select the correct format before downloading your ebook. Some formats do not work on portable devices) .You will also need to have installed the appropriate eBook reading software. Doing this will only take a few minutes and it is free! Once you've got your eBook, you can read it anytime and do not need to be connected to the Internet.
Adobe Digital Editions is a piece of software that is needed in order to manage your digital library of eBooks. Also, without this your purchased eBook will not be able to be transferred to eReader devices.

To find Harlequin books on the iBookstore, you can search by title, author, or genre. When you find the book you want, tap it so see more details, peruse reviews, even read a sample. Download the book and it appears on your bookshelf in the iBooks app on your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch. You can download the iBooks
app free from the App store.
All eBooks sold on millsandboon.com.au are in the EPUB format secured with Adobe ADEPT Digital Rights Management or DNL Reader Protected DRM.
For Adobe ePubs
Digital Rights Management is used to limit the ability to copy eBooks and ties your purchased eBooks to the Adobe Account you are using on the PC you download to. It is possible to use your account across up to six different devices authorised to the account including readers, laptops and desktops. Always ensure that you have setup your account in Adobe Digital Editions before you download an eBook to a new machine. When changing machines, take a note of your login details to ensure that you can retain access to your library.
· Open OverDrive Media Console.
· Select Manager > Settings. The 'Settings' screen is shown.
· Under 'Adobe Account', select 'Activate with Adobe ID'. The 'Adobe Activation' screen is shown.
· Enter your Adobe ID (email address) and password. If needed, get an Adobe ID.
· Click 'Activate'. Your device is activated.
You can activate up to six computers and devices. If you reach the limit, contact Adobe via their website to increase your allowable activations.
Activating Adobe Digital Editions using an Adobe ID allows you to do more with Adobe eBooks, such as downloading them on multiple computers and transferring them to supported portable devices. However, this is a matter of personal preference. Before deciding, please consider the following…
If you use anonymous activation, note these limitations… You will only be able to read a downloaded Adobe eBook on a single computer. You will not be able to download an Adobe eBook on more than one computer. After the initial download of an Adobe eBook, subsequent downloads of that title can only be completed on the same computer.
You will not be able to transfer Adobe eBooks to supported eBook devices. You can decide to activate using an Adobe ID at any time. However, if you activate Adobe Digital Editions with an Adobe ID which has already been used to activate Adobe Digital Editions on another computer, the Adobe eBooks you originally downloaded when using anonymous activation will no longer work.
If you use an Adobe ID…
You will be able to download an Adobe eBook on computers that have been activated with the same Adobe ID (up to 6 computers/devices can be activated using the same Adobe ID).
After the initial download of an Adobe eBook, subsequent downloads of that title can be completed on computers activated with the same Adobe ID.
You will be able to transfer Adobe eBooks to supported eBook devices activated with the same Adobe ID.
When you first launch Adobe Digital Editions, you are prompted to authorise your computer. You can decline, in which case your digital content will belong to the computer, not a named user account. Subsequently, you will be prompted to authorise your computer whenever you purchase an eBook, although the prompt dialogue box provides a "Don't ask me again" checkbox.
Adobe Digital Editions has an "Authorise this computer" menu item that you can use after initial installation. If you authorise your computer with an Adobe ID, then it will always be associated with that Adobe ID. If you do not, the account is "anonymous". If you "anonymously" activate two computers, then there are two separate anonymous accounts, which cannot be merged. Thus, the eBooks on one computer can be upgraded to "belong" to a specific Adobe ID, but the eBooks on the other cannot. If you authorise the second computer with your Adobe ID, any subsequent purchases on it are associated with that ID and transferable to any computer authorised with that ID. However, the books that were purchased on the second computer prior to being activated are forever locked to that computer.
Open Adobe Digital Editions.
Select Library > Authorise Computer….
The 'Authorise Computer' dialog box is displayed.
Enter the email address and password for your Adobe ID.
Click 'Finish' to close the 'Setup Assistant' dialog box.
Adobe Digital Editions is activated using an Adobe ID. Repeat this process on each computer on which you intend to download Adobe eBooks. Note that if you activate Adobe Digital Editions with an Adobe ID which has already been used to activate Adobe Digital Editions on another computer, any DRM-protected Adobe eBooks downloaded before activating with the Adobe ID will no longer work. If the subsequent download of an Adobe eBook is attempted on a computer that has been activated using a different Adobe ID, DRM-restrictions will make the title incompatible with the second computer.
Yes, the Adobe EPUB is enabled on the Macintosh operating system.
Yes. You will not download a computer virus or any other malicious file when you download eBooks or eBook readers from our site.
No. Because these are digital products, they can only be ordered online.
No. Because it is not currently possible to buy an eBook for another person you will only need one copy.
You do not have to pay delivery charges for eBooks.
No. eBooks can only be purchased with a credit, debit card or paypal.
At this time, eBooks cannot be sent as gifts. eBook orders are accessed via the individual customer account at harlequinbooks.com.au
You can download your eBook again by returning to the email we sent you with the download links or log into your MyHarlequin account on our website and locate your order under My Orders.
Your download will have been saved on your computers hard drive in My Documents"My Digital Editions. This applies to Windows. For Mac users look in Documents"My Digital Editions.
At this time our eBooks cannot be printed.
As eBooks cannot be physically returned, it is our policy to not offer refunds on successful purchases. Adobe EPUB ebooks use the same software used to read Adobe PDF ebooks, Adobe Digital Editions. If you previously downloaded Adobe PDF, your eReading experience will not change with Adobe EPUB format.

We offer 2 methods of payment, credit card or Paypal. Both methods are quick and easy to process so you get your books faster.
For credit card payments we accept Mastercard and Visa. Simply enter your credit card details when you place your order. Your card will be debited at the time the order is processed. We use the National Australia Bank (NAB) to process your online payment, as well as the highest levels of encryption available to ensure your credit card purchase is fully protected. Please see our security information for details.
For Paypal payments simply follow the screen prompts which will take you to the paypal site and when the payment is complete you will be returned to www.harlequinbooks.com.au.
Once you complete your purchase, you will immediately be notified by email that we have received your order.
Changing your order
You can edit or change the number of items in your shopping cart up until the point you process your credit card payment. Simply use the arrow to increase or decrease the number of items in the quantity box. To remove items simply click the 'Remove' box.
Cancellations, refunds & returns policies
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return it for a full refund. Please note that refunds will only be given for those books returned within one month of their date of purchase.

Postage & Delivery
We aim to provide the most cost-effective postage for books for all our customers. If you buy single books or book packs from www.harlequinbooks.com.au they will be shipped together in one parcel.
If you order a book that is unavailable for some reason we will send it to you at a later date or contact you to organise a replacement book. If your order is split we will cover the postage costs on subsequent parcels.
Australian postage rates
Postage to Australian addresses is $7.00 no matter how many books you buy, or where you live! Buy one book or twenty books and pay a flat rate of $7.00.
New Zealand postage rates
Postage to New Zealand addresses is $7.50 no matter how many books you buy, or where you live! Buy one book or twenty books and pay a flat rate of $7.50.
International postage from Australia is expensive. The postage rates we charge for international addresses reflects the prices we are charged by Australia Post.

All orders are processed and mailed within 72 hours. The normal delivery times are:
- To Australia ranges from 3 to 7 business days
- To New Zealand ranges from 5-12 days
